We at BB Bake-n-Cook Classes are working to make our site is accessible to people with disabilities.

What web accessibility is​

An accessible site allows visitors with disabilities to browse the site with the same or a similar level of ease and enjoyment as other visitors. This can be achieved with the capabilities of the system on which the site is operating, and through assistive technologies.

Accessibility adjustments on this site

We have adapted this site in accordance with WCAG 2.1 guidelines and have made the site accessible to the level of AA. This site's contents have been adapted to work with assistive technologies, such as screen readers and keyboard use.

As part of this effort, we have also:

  • Alt Text: Added meaningful alternative text to images of our culinary tools and dishes so screen readers can describe them.

  • Keyboard Navigation: Ensured that all menus, forms, and checkout pages can be navigated using only a keyboard (Tab key).

  • Clear Structure: Defined clear heading structures (H1, H2, H3) on all pages to help users navigate content easily.

  • Color Contrast: Implemented color combinations for text and buttons that meet the required color contrast ratio for readability.

  • Video Accessibility: We aim to provide captions or transcripts for our recorded cooking sessions.

  • Reduced Motion: Minimized the use of flashing animations to prevent seizures or discomfort.

Declaration of partial compliance due to third-party content
The accessibility of certain pages on the site depends on contents that do not belong to our organization, and instead belong to third-party service providers. We therefore declare partial compliance with the standard for these pages:
  • Live Class Platforms: Our live sessions are hosted on Zoom, Microsoft Teams, and Google Meet. While these platforms have their own accessibility features (such as live captioning), we do not control their interface.
  • Payment Gateways: The final checkout and payment processing pages are managed by payment platforms we have integrated.
  • Logistics Tracking: Shipment tracking pages provided by our courier partners.
Accessibility arrangements in the organization (Physical Studio)

We strive to make our physical workshops at A) C30, Ajay Tenament, Amraiwadi, Ahmedabad and B) B501, Dream Heights, Plot 28, Sector-19, Kharghar, Navi Mumbai, 410210 inclusive for everyone.​

  • Lighting: Our kitchen studio is brightly lit to assist those with low vision.
